Movement and Play in Trauma Processing

Join Laurie and Playful EMDR for a day of experiential training with a practicum of processing using play therapy materials, creative arts, sensory movement, and an EMDR or play narrative approach that participants can take back to their own practice settings. You’ll practice combining trauma processing models with movement, somatic and play therapy approaches to make trauma work actually happen in the play room! Ideal for licensed clinicians who work with children and teens.

TBRI Caregiver Training

FOR FAMILIES AND ORGANIZATIONS

Laurie is a Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI) Practitioner who provides TBRI® Caregiver Training for parents and families. This is an attachment-based, evidence-based, and trauma-informed intervention designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. EMDR Advanced Training

FOR THERAPISTS

As a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved EMDR Consultant, Laurie teaches therapists interested in Attachment Theory, Sensory Integration and increased Somatic Interventions in therapy, and Trauma Informed Behavioral change. Her presentations focus on incorporating complimentary trauma informed interventions like TBRI® and Safe and Sound Protocol into EMDR therapy.
