The Unstuck Therapist: Strategies and Interventions for Challenging Clients

Join trainers Annie Monaco, LCSW, RPT-S, Laurie Belanger, LCSW and Nicole Wolasz, MSW, LCSW for this practical, clinically-grounded workshop that will help you create a safe environment for your most challenging clients.

Working as a clinical therapist often means sitting across from clients whose survival strategies were forged in contexts of chronic threat, relational wounding, and unmet developmental need. Therapists often struggle to engage and get treatment plan traction, not because the clinician lacks skill but because the therapeutic relationship has not yet become a regulated-enough place for change. The Unstuck Therapist is designed to bridge that gap. Clinicians will engage in a practical and clinically grounded framework, providing skills for fast-tracking clinical attunement and increasing client experiences of nervous system level safety.

This 1.5-day training will be offered virtually and in-person at Endeavor Health Services, 795 Indian Church Road, West Seneca, NY 14224
